Hola,

Things are still going great. I made time today to write the family a letter, so that should be on it's way, so this e-mail will probably be a little shorter, because I already said a lot of stuff in my letter.

I hope I can keep up the good stories. This week was kind of a rough week, but I guess that's how it goes. Missionary work is hard stuff.

We can have a couple dinner appointments a week, but not many. We usually just eat when we have a minute to grab a bite. My blood sugars are doing good. I had to do some mega adjusting on my insulin though because of all the walking I do. I take very little insulin. My blood sugars for low for like the first week and I had to eat candy all the time. So if you could send me some bags of starbursts and stuff that would be great. I chow through it. But I am to the point where I don't get low unless we lots unexpected walking, which happens sometimes.

I included my supplies in the letter to the fam.

I see Shea stadium, not quite every day, but almost every day. I see a lot of crazy things taht I have only seen on TV before.

So here is a cool story, well not really, but it made me excited. The other day for lunch I got a sandwich, a Vitamin Water, and . . .. a black and white cookie. Haha. It made me so happy. I saw them and had to get one.

If you don't know why I think it is cool, there is an episode of Seinfield that is basically all about Black and WHite cookies. I felt really cool eating a black and white cookie in NY. It was really really good too.

I heard the Phillies won, so I guess you lost. Haha. It is so weird to be so out of the loop. A member told me that the Phillies won. I didn't even know who was in it. You will have to keep me posted on how the Jazz are doing, because I never heard.

Our Branch had a big Halloween party, but the missionaries couldn't go. We had a curfew of 5. We had to be in our apartments at 5. I guess they have had missionaries die from getting hit by drunk drivers and stuff, so on certain holidays, Halloween, new years, I think the 4th of july, and maybe some others, we have a curfew as the President sees fit. So I have no idea what Halloween in New York is like. I didn't see it. I sat in my apartment and did my weekly planning.

Welp, talk to you later. Expect a letter soon.

I love you so much.

Hello All,

I hope it is alright if I can just write e-mails for a while. My P-days have been crazy, and so I have no free time. In a couple weeks they should calm down a bit, and I will be able to get you a hand written letter. I hope this is alright. If it isn't, let me know.

So this week has been pretty good. Really crazy, tons of stuff going on. a lot of walking, a lot of not understanding spanish. Stuff like that. It has been great though. It has gone by so quick, it still seems like I got here yesterday.

Okay, so I have one of those super cool missionary experiences that you hear about all the time to tell you all. So the sisters has an investigator that they taught and that was baptized last saturday. I actually stood in on the confirmation, which was cool, that was the first time I had done that.

Anyways. Her son was really sick, he was having some rpoblems with his urinary tract. So we went over to his house with the sisters and we taught him about the priesthood. What it is, how it has been restored, etc. After we taught him about that we asked if he would like to recieve a blessing.

He said he would. My companion annointed him and then I blessed him. The next day at church we were talking to his mom and she said that he woke up today and was healed. All his pain was gone. All the problems were ceased.

He believes the priesthood is true and wants to learn more. So we are going to start teaching him and I bet he will be really receptive, since he basically already knows it is true. I will keep you updated on what happens.

So almost all of the weight that I put on in the MTC I have losed since I have been here. So that is good. I am getting fed well though. It is just from all of the walking. It has been crazy. It has been weird to try to get it all figured out with my blood sugar. I take almost no insulin for some meals. It is crazy.

Okay, here is for mom, you asked me stuff that I would like you to send. I know I am forgetting some stuff, but here is a basic list of what I have thought of.

1. CD Player, personal one.

2. Speakers for CD. Not expensive, but not cheap 3. CDs -RM Soundtrack - I have this, you could just burn a copy off of iTunes.

-Sons of Provo Soundtrack - I don't have this -Jon Schmidt - You can burn -Jim Brickman - Don't have. I don't know exactly that title of the CD, but the one with the song "Angel Eyes" on it.

-David Lanz - Can burn.

-Anything else you think is good. :)

4. Electric razor - It is a pain to shave every day with cream.

5. Pedemoter - I want to know how much I walk. haha.

6. A nice umbrella - Small, but strong, there was the biggest storm the other day, the most rain i have ever seen, and my umbrella broke to pieces, literally. I have pciture of me I will send you of me wet.

Well, my computer time is expering, If I can find time I will write a letter, i know this is short.

I love you all. You are always in my prayers.

Hey everyone - here is a copy of an email that I received from Bradon:

Hey,

Thanks for the pictures. They are great. I have one of the fam hanging up in my study area.

Things are still going great. Elder Cook came to our devotional on Tuesday. So far 2 of the 12 in 3 weeks. That is pretty good.

It has been kind of cold here lately. Not really cold, just a little.

How are things going for you? Work and such going good? Any big changes?

Things don't really ever change for me. I eat, sleep, go to class, and occasionally go to gym.

Learning Spanish has kind of messed up my English. I spell things how they would be spelt in Spanish. I also am starting to speak Spanglish. It is weird. But it is good. That means I am starting to learn it. I have tons more to learn though.

I just got back from the temple. It was great as always. The feeling in the Celestial Room is unparalled.

I am a third of the way done with my MTC stay. Isn't that crazy? Are you going to send me some super cool presents for my Hump Day? You should.

Well, I my computer time is about up, and I need to go grab some lunch, I am starving.

I love you. Keep me in your prayers.
